This is an old capital city of Thailand. Nowadays you can find there old Buddha Temples, Buddha Sculptures etc. You can also visit Wat Phra Mongkhon Bophit. Ayutthaya is about 82 km from Bangkok.

Tiger Temple, Kanchanaburi

Tiger Temple is near Kanchanaburi close to Burma border. Tiger Temple is about 170 km from Bangkok.

Pattaya

If you want to escape from Bangkok and enjoy sunny beaches, then I suggest to go to Pattaya. Pattaya is about 133 km from Bangkok.

Angkor Wat, Cambodia

You can also visit Angkor Wat in Cambodia, but it’s little bit far from Bangkok and this trip usually takes more than two or three days.
